What We Do

The Natural Resilience project celebrates the power, strength and resilience of women living with irregular immigration status. We deliver programmes of nature based workshops, that promote personal resilience by cultivating connections to ourselves, each other and the natural world.

‘Power in Community, Respite in Nature’

The Natural Resilience Project delivers an innovative approach to working therapeutically - developing personal resilience by connecting to nature and community.

We work in wild and beautiful spaces within cities to highlight nature’s ability to thrive in challenging conditions.

We work with nature and each other to expand our awareness - paying close attention to what is happening around us,  inside us and between us.

Our programmes of workshops allow the unique conditions of a trusted women-only space to be built over time between participants.

Workshops weave together a combination of games, song, conversation and reflection.

We create opportunities for developing mutual trust and solidarity as well as a safe space to discuss problems.
